Overview

Our refund policy primarily covers the unused portion of your purchased tutoring package.

This policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we may not be able to offer a full refund, but we may offer credit for future sessions.

To be eligible for a refund, the sessions included in the purchased package must be unused (beyond any initial trial or first session guarantee, if applicable).

Non-Refundable Items/Services:

  • Completed and delivered tutoring sessions (sessions already conducted).
  • Gift cards.
  • Customized academic plans or assessments once they have been delivered.

To complete your refund request, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once your refund request for unused sessions is submitted and reviewed (typically within 2 business days), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days (usually 5-10 business days, depending on your bank).

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please follow these steps:

  1. First, check your bank account again.
  2. Then, contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  4. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@ib-pal.com.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds are granted in the following situations:

  • Packages that have been partially used: The refund amount will be calculated based on the unused sessions remaining in the package (the cost of the used sessions will be deducted from the total price).
  • Any item/package that is requested for a refund more than 30 days after the date of purchase (a credit for future use may be offered instead).

Sale Items

Only regular-priced packages may be refunded. Packages purchased at a sale or promotional price cannot be refunded unless explicitly stated otherwise during the promotion.

Exchanges (Tutor Replacement)

We understand that a tutor-student relationship is crucial. We only “exchange” services if the initial assigned tutor is deemed unsatisfactory.

If you are unhappy with your assigned tutor and need to exchange your remaining sessions for credit or assign them to a new tutor, please contact us immediately via email at support@ib-pal.com.
